Ah Yii's Birthday!

Firstly, i would like to thank all our lectures from Ms. Chin, Ms Chong, Ms Hema, Mr Peter, Mr Subra to our moral teacher for letting me be late in attending their classes and so on for the event.
Secondly, a big thank you to all of you(Residents of PM6) for being so understanding and the SURPRISE BIRTHDAY PARTY! Handling such a big-scaled event almost single-handedly.. well it's been nothing but a hard and stressful week, and i really thank you all for being there to celebrate my birthday with me, the surprise and the 'swimming party'. It was indeed what i needed after 4 hectic days. thanks you guys!=)
Thirdly, thanks to Ah Zhao, Nicholas, Sam, Ashley, Elton and others for helping out with the heavy boxes for the 'Cervical Cancer Awareness Talk'.

Last Men Standing

Words,
We played as a team and I believe that all of us had contributed the most we can give. We were winning steadily until the moment we had to change our computer lab. Although I was really disappointed that we missed our trophy, but as Mr.Peter said trophy is just a scrappy metal and the most important thing here is that we get to be more united now. This is our first class teamwork activity and I thank all of you for giving me such a nice experience.

These are pictures about PM6 students who were so dedicated and stayed till the last moment of the World Math day at 7.00 pm.

When there's only half an hour left. . . .
* GO GO GO WE CAN DO IT!
Everybody seriously trying their best.

But when the gap wasn't decreasing but increasing instead. . .
40k only mar... 30 ppl do can get wan easily. . .
yeah, i ASSUME our whole class were doing... :p

We were like "Holy Sh*t"

Last 10 minutes. . . when we finally realized it was nearly impossible for us to catch up. .
We were emo-ing. . .

Ah Zhao was sad

Sam was crying

Prashan lost his Hannah Montana

Finally, when time was up and World Math Day was over. . .
And we realized we were not top 10. . .

I screamed at the screen

The End!

We Gained More

Yellow everyone!

Congrats everyone! We all fought through the World Math Day together. Tiring huh?? Should sleep now. Never deprive yourself from sleep, don't wanna lose the neurones to keep away the A's (especially TKS). Well throughout the competition, it's not just the international ranking fame we had gained, but a stronger relationship (not the bf-gf kind la) between us all has been built. Betui? Serious... We really formed a stronger bond together (Ben, it's not James Bond). We joke with each other more, we bullied poor Prashan more, we gained more vocab from Mia's 'english' and much much more. We learnt to cooperate, we learnt to tolerate each other, we learnt how to manage our time (not so for Bio). Let me emphasise again, we are not racist. We can't just love each other more, right Prashan? Guys, I'm really glad to be in the same class with you all. I really enjoyed the time being with you all. I guess I'm dozing off now.. Haha..Once again congratulation to us PM6. Here are a few precious moments together that we should cherish more.

L-Turn looks so happy, but what's the matter with Ben??

They had to stay outside as the seats in the computer lab are all taken

Ben's over obsessed

Math Fanatic

Jane (Hmm.. How much more to catch up?)

That's me (Struggling to answer. Aizz..)

One of our class genius, Nicholas working hard to score too!!

Zhang Xian brought his own Laptop

P/s : Eeeshh.. Jane, John, Sam, Benjamin and Christine can't join us next year as they'll be too old.

Congratulations to All

First of all, let's wish PM3, PE1 and PE4 congratulations for making the top 10. Not forgetting PE2 and PM4 who also made the list.

Next let's congratulate ourselves for managing to answer questions in 48 hours. That comes out to almost 6 correct answers every second and an average of 16581 per student. All in all we finished 15th in the overall class category and 13th in the high school category.

A very special thank you to 2 of our students, Elton and Jane for answering the most number of correct questions :) (Elton you lost some weight). And of course, thank you to each and everyone of you for taking part in this. For those who stayed up til 3am and skipped meals (Elton), another big thank you to you.

Of course, we can't forget our beloved lecturers who gave every bit of support to us. Thank you for allowing us to skip classes to answer the questions, and we're sorry if we disappointed any of you in any way. Ms Chin, Mr Peter Ting, Ms Chong, Ms Hema and Mr Subra, terima kasih banyak-banyak.

Let's not be disappointed that we were so close yet so far from making the top 10. We were awesome, but the other teams were better. We fought a good fight, we did our best, and we made the best out of all situations. That's something to be proud of. Most of all, we grew much closer to each other, and that's the most important thing. (Now we know that words such as "alady" actually exists)

To those who haven't been eating and sleeping well, please have a good rest. To those who are hungry for more maths questions, you can always start practising for next year :) Lastly, although we may not have a trophy with engraved with our class name on it, we do have joy and pride engraved on each of our hearts. yay.

Posted by John.

btw I sent an email to the organizer requesting that more trophies be given out. hopefully they'll consider it. and also, those who have pictures of us exercising of fingers, do upload them here. thanks!
